Scene of minor scratch/burr repair
Grinding and cleaning only inflict minimal first-level harm. The temperature is raised to the production temperature point when the repair is finished, and it is then stabilised for half an hour. The equipment can be fully returned to normal within an hour once the temperature measurement accuracy check is finished.
Scene of local deformation/carbon impaction repair
A diamond reamer was used to reshape the secondary damage. Following repair, the temperature measurement signal's drift was verified and the fundamental temperature field adaption was finished. In around 1.5 hours, it can get back to normal.
Repair scene for a severely distorted insert
When thin-walled bushing inserts create grade three severe damage, the bushing will fully adjust to the hot runner's temperature field after being pressed and placed. The precision of the entire process will be confirmed, and it will return to normal in two hours.
To prevent injection moulding from failing, it is necessary to verify that the temperature measurement variation is ≤±1°C in every situation and that the signal is constant during the whole process.
