Based on your previous concerns about the temperature differences in cleaning hot runners made of different materials and the prohibition of ultrasonic cleaning of hot runners, there are significant differences in the required cleaning time for hot runners made of different materials. The core differences are as follows:

I. Ceramic Hot Runners: Recommended cleaning time is 15-25 minutes. This allows the ceramic material to maintain a stable structure at high temperatures and, with the help of specialized cleaning materials, thoroughly displace any residue within the runner.

There is no need to excessively extend the cleaning time, as prolonged adhesion of residual materials at high temperatures can increase the difficulty of subsequent cleaning.

II. Carbide Hot Runners: Recommended cleaning time is 10-20 minutes. The high smoothness of the carbide surface makes it difficult for materials to adhere to the walls, allowing for thorough replacement in a short time.

For stubborn carbon buildup, the cleaning time can be extended by 5-10 minutes without damaging the carbide itself.

III. Ordinary Steel Hot Runners: Recommended cleaning time is 5-15 minutes. Steel surfaces are prone to micropores, and prolonged high-temperature cleaning can allow residual materials to penetrate into these pores.

Cleaning time needs to be controlled to prevent carbonized materials from adhering to pores and increasing the difficulty of subsequent color changes.

IV. Hot runners with special coatings: Recommended cleaning time is 3-10 minutes. The coating surface has strong anti-adhesion properties, allowing for quick cleaning and replacement.

Prolonged high-temperature immersion cleaning is strictly prohibited to prevent coating peeling and failure.

The core principle for cleaning time varies depending on the material: "fully replace residues without damaging the substrate structure." Slight adjustments can be made to the base time based on the actual degree of contamination.
