High-quality thermocouples have almost no drift under long-term working conditions, so the process parameters set during startup remain effective throughout the production run. In automotive, packaging, and electronic manufacturing, this stability directly determines yield and production efficiency.
In multi-cavity molds, the consistency of multiple thermocouples is equally important. Differences between sensors will lead to cavity-to-cavity differences, increasing the rejection rate. Therefore, thermocouples used in mass production hot runners usually come from the same batch and undergo consistent testing to ensure uniformity.
