Multi-temperature point isothermal comparison: Typically, 3-5 widely utilised manufacturing temperature points are chosen. Isothermal stabilisation and forward/reverse temperature readings take about 20-30 minutes each, for a total of 60-120 minutes.
Closed-loop parameter adjustment and verification takes about 20-30 minutes, including Husky temperature controller calibration parameter sets, PID self-tuning, and accuracy retest verification.
A comprehensive single-channel calibration takes roughly 1.5-2.5 hours, which meets the usual time requirements for industrial field calibration.
Multi-channel batch calibration time: By batch calibrating numerous thermocouple channels on the same Husky temperature controller, the isothermal heating process can be shared. Each extra channel requires only 10-15 minutes of comparison testing, which dramatically improves calibration efficiency.
Batch calibration of the full 8-channel hot runner temperature control system takes about 3-4 hours, which is much less than the total time necessary for individual channel calibration.
For rapid calibration scenarios, single-point rapid calibration of only 1-2 frequently used critical temperature locations in daily production can be performed in 40-60 minutes, making it ideal for rapid accuracy verification scenarios with minimal production line downtime.
During calibration, the temperature field change must meet the criterion of ≤0.2℃/min. The isothermal stabilisation time cannot be rushed to save time; otherwise, the accuracy and reliability of the calibration results may suffer.
