Normal No-Residual Fault Scenario: If the alarm is an intermittent over-temperature or temporary signal fluctuation false alarm, and the root cause of the alarm has been completely eliminated, the thermostat will immediately return to normal within 1-3 seconds after reset. The red alarm light will turn off, the temperature display will return to the actual temperature of the current hot runner, and it will directly enter the ready state.
When performing a soft-reset operation, the Husky thermostat's system self-test process typically takes 30-60 seconds. After the self-test is completed, all channels will automatically return to normal operation.
Recovery Scenario with Temperature Conditions: If the hot runner is in a high-temperature constant-temperature state during reset, the thermostat's PID control will stabilize again within 2-5 minutes after reset, and temperature fluctuations will quickly narrow to within ±1℃, fully restoring normal temperature control.
If the reset operation is performed while the hot runner is cooled, after restarting the heating process, the temperature controller will gradually return to normal temperature control following the hot runner's temperature rise curve. The recovery time depends on the target production temperature; for a typical hot runner at around 200℃, it usually takes 15-30 minutes to fully restore normal production conditions.
Abnormal Scenarios Where the Fault Is Not Completely Resolved: If the root cause of the alarm is not completely resolved, the temperature controller will only temporarily clear the alarm state after resetting. It will trigger the alarm again within minutes to hours, making it impossible
to maintain normal operation for an extended period.
