I. Time Breakdown for Each Stage
Preparation Stage: 3 minutes. Complete tool inventory, sensor power-on preheating, and confirm normal wiring signals.
Cold State Two-Point Basic Calibration: 7 minutes. Complete zero-point calibration, full-scale calibration, and linearity verification at three intermediate points.
Hot State Dynamic Calibration: 7 minutes. In conjunction with hot runner heating and insulation, compare measured displacement with theoretical expansion values at different temperature points.
Final Verification and Archiving: 3 minutes. Complete full-stroke repeatability verification, save calibration parameters, and archive.
II. Factors Affecting Calibration Time
If multiple domestic Hall displacement sensors need to be calibrated simultaneously in a multi-cavity hot runner system, each additional sensor only increases the calibration time by 5-7 minutes, eliminating the need to repeatedly wait for the hot runner to heat up.
If minor signal interference occurs on-site and needs to be investigated, the additional time will not exceed 10 minutes, and the entire calibration work can still be completed within 30 minutes.
The calibration time is perfectly suited to the short downtime window of the injection molding production line during mold change, without taking up a lot of production time, and ordinary maintenance engineers can quickly get started and complete the operation.
