Getting to the Interface for Calibration Parameter Settings:
Put the temperature controller in administrator mode first. To enable parameter modification permissions, provide the operation password for the relevant level. Normal user mode does not allow for the adjustment of calibration-related settings.

Locate the "Sensor Settings" or "Thermocouple Configuration" option on the main menu. Once you're in, choose the channel that requires calibration and locate the "Calibration Compensation" section.

Configuration of Core Calibration Parameters:

Cold Junction Compensation Parameter: Verify whether the cold junction compensation feature is turned on. To fix system faults brought on by cold junction temperature drift, enter the actual measured temperature of the cold junction environment as the reference value, making sure that the cold junction temperature deviation is ≤ ±0.5°C.

Heat the hot runner to a steady, often used production temperature point as the offset compensation parameter. To find the real temperature at that location, use a conventional thermocouple. To finish single-point deviation correction, enter the difference between the measured value and the temperature controller's displayed value in the "Temperature Offset" parameter field.

Multi-point calibration parameters: The Husky temperature controller's high-precision calibration is supported by its ability to sequentially conduct comparative tests at three to five different temperature points, recording the error values at each temperature point into the system to create a linear compensation curve and achieve accurate calibration over the whole temperature range.

Post-calibration verification and locking: The temperature controller's auto-tuning (AT) program is started once parameter adjustments are finished, enabling the system to adjust to the new thermocouple properties and optimise PID control parameters.

The calibration parameters are locked to prevent unauthorised personnel from making unintentional changes after 30 minutes of continuous constant temperature operation and verification that the temperature display fluctuation is ≤±1°C and the deviation from the standard temperature measurement value is within the permitted range.

The Husky hot runner temperature control system's working logic is entirely compatible with this setup procedure, guaranteeing that the thermocouple temperature measurement accuracy satisfies the exacting criteria of injection moulding production following calibration.
