I. Time-Based Recalibration
Under normal use, the calibration cycle is one year. For high-frequency use in hot runner production lines (average daily operation exceeding 8 hours), recalibration is required every six months.
If the equipment has been shut down for more than 3 months and then restarted, recalibration must be completed before putting it back into use.
II. Accuracy Deviation-Based Recalibration
Measure the output signal with a reference calibrator. If the performance verification test fails, recalibration is required.
For models with a nominal accuracy of ±0.1%FS, if the actual output deviation exceeds ±10mV, recalibration is required.
III. Hardware Anomaly-Based Recalibration
If the equipment has experienced abnormal operating conditions such as drops, strong electromagnetic shocks, overvoltage, or overload, the internal circuit parameters are likely to drift, necessitating recalibration.
If the equipment displays errors related to crystal oscillator accuracy or output channels during self-testing, recalibration is required after ruling out hardware faults.
IV. Synchronization Performance Triggers Recalibration
If the multi-channel synchronization deviation exceeds 0.01s and cannot be corrected through conventional parameter adjustments, recalibration is required.
If the synchronization deviation drift exceeds 0.005s after 30 minutes of continuous operation, recalibration is required.
V. Compliance Triggers Recalibration
Before factory ISO system audits and product certifications, recalibration must be completed and a valid calibration certificate obtained to ensure traceability of measurement values.
Before major technical upgrades to hot runner systems and batch temperature control channel calibration, the signal generator must be recalibrated in advance to avoid inaccurate calibration results.
This set of criteria can quickly and accurately determine whether equipment needs recalibration, avoiding errors in hot runner temperature control channel calibration results due to equipment inaccuracies.
