Time-Period Triggered Calibration
Under normal usage, calibration should be performed at least once a year. For high-frequency use in hot runner production lines (average daily operation exceeding 8 hours), calibration is required every six months.
If the equipment has been shut down for more than 3 months and is then restarted, calibration must be completed before putting it back into use.
Accuracy Deviation Triggered Calibration
Measure the output signal using a reference calibrator. If the frequency deviation exceeds ±1ppm and the voltage/current output deviation exceeds ±0.05%FS, calibration is required.
If the thermal analog signal output deviation exceeds 1/3 of the allowable error of the hot runner temperature control channel, calibration is required.
Hardware Anomaly Triggered Calibration
If the equipment has experienced abnormal operating conditions such as drops, strong electromagnetic shocks, overvoltage, or overload, the internal circuit parameters are likely to drift, requiring calibration.
If the equipment displays errors related to crystal oscillator accuracy or output channels during self-testing, calibration is required after ruling out hardware faults.
Synchronization Performance Triggered Calibration
If the multi-channel synchronization deviation exceeds 0.01s and cannot be corrected through conventional parameter adjustments, calibration is required. If the synchronization deviation drift exceeds 0.005 seconds after 30 minutes of continuous operation, calibration is required.
Compliance-Triggered Calibration: Before factory ISO system audits and product certifications, calibration must be completed and a valid calibration certificate obtained to ensure traceability of measurement values.
Before major technical upgrades to hot runner systems and batch temperature control channel calibration, the signal generator must be calibrated in advance to avoid inaccurate calibration results.
This set of judgment criteria is fully adaptable to hot runner industrial field operation and maintenance scenarios, and can quickly and accurately determine whether equipment needs calibration, avoiding errors in hot runner temperature control channel calibration results due to equipment inaccuracies.
