Core Component Condition Assessment: A thermocouple with only localized wire breakage and mild oxidation of the outer sheath, but no large-scale aging and embrittlement of the internal wires, is suitable for deep repair.

Accuracy Loss Assessment: If, after verification, there is only slight drift at localized temperature points and no large-scale inaccuracy across the entire temperature range, repair can be attempted to restore accuracy.

Physical Damage Assessment: If the outer sheath does not have large-scale cracking, the wires are not completely pulverized or broken, and the insulation layer is not completely failed, basic protective performance can be restored after repair.

Usage Scenarios Adaptability Assessment: Deep repair is worth attempting only if the thermocouple is used as a temporary emergency spare part, for non-core temperature measurement points, and not for high-precision mass production scenarios.

If the coupling wire is severely aged or the sheath is extensively damaged, replacing it with a new one is far more reliable than extensive repair.
