Basic Insulation Performance Testing: Use a megohmmeter to test the insulation resistance of the material. At room temperature, the insulation resistance should be ≥1000MΩ, and the breakdown voltage should be ≥20kV/mm, with no breakdown or flashover phenomena.
Temperature Resistance Stability Testing: Place the material at the highest operating temperature for 24 hours. If there is no deformation or cracking in the appearance, and no significant attenuation in insulation performance, the temperature resistance is considered qualified.
Thermal Conductivity Testing: Use a thermal conductivity meter to test the thermal conductivity of qualified hot runner insulation materials. The thermal conductivity should be ≤0.3W/(m·K), meeting the requirements for heat insulation and energy saving.
Dimensional Accuracy Testing: The dimensional tolerances of customized irregular-shaped insulation parts must conform to the drawing requirements, with no significant deformation, and can achieve a zero-gap fit with the hot runner mounting position.
Operating Condition Compatibility Verification: After 72 hours of continuous operation, no localized leakage or abnormal temperature loss was observed in the hot runner, indicating that its actual performance is qualified.
Through the above full-process testing, it can be confirmed whether the hot runner insulation material is fully compatible with the production scenario.
