Based on your previous focus on the generally poor repeatability and susceptibility to interference in the hot runner scenario, the following measures can improve repeatability:

Environmental Interference Optimization: Reliably ground one end of the LVDT shielding cable, keeping it away from power lines. Shut down nearby high-power equipment during testing to eliminate signal fluctuations caused by electromagnetic interference.

Standardized Operation: Push the probe at a uniform speed using a micrometer, controlling the movement speed to ≤1mm/s throughout the entire process to avoid human error introduced by uneven manual pushing speeds.

Data Filtering: Enable the signal mean filtering function of the hot runner system, continuously collect 5 data points, and take the average to offset random fluctuations from single sampling.

Repeat Verification Mechanism: Perform 3 consecutive full-stroke tests under the same operating conditions, discard abnormal jump data, and take the average of the valid results as the final judgment criterion.

After optimization, the detection repeatability deviation can be controlled within 0.02mm, significantly improving the stability of the results.
