I. Preparatory Work
Confirm that the temperature controller is connected to the dynamic RC filter hardware module and is currently operating in automatic mode.
Record the stable interference frequency and the optimal RC range parameters for the current production scenario as the target values for locking.
Confirm that the current temperature of the hot runner is within the stable range of the production process, without significant temperature fluctuations.
II. Manual Locking Step-by-Step Operation
Enter the temperature controller's main menu, find the "Signal Filtering Settings" submenu, and select the "Dynamic RC Filtering Mode" option.
Switch from the default "Automatic Adaptation" mode to "Manual Locking" mode. The system will display a list of currently selectable RC ranges.
Select the pre-confirmed target RC range, enter the corresponding locking parameters (resistance value, capacitance value, filter cutoff frequency), and confirm.
The system will display a confirmation prompt. Select "Enable Locking." At this point, the analog switch of the dynamic RC network will be fixed at the current range and will no longer automatically switch with changes in interference frequency.
Return to the main interface and check the filter indicator in the status bar. Confirm that "RC Lock" is displayed, indicating the lock operation is effective.
III. Post-Lock Verification
Observe the temperature controller reading for 15 minutes to confirm there are no jumps or abnormal fluctuations, and that the temperature control accuracy meets current process requirements.
Trigger an interference simulation test to confirm that the RC setting does not automatically switch, and the lock state is stable.
Record the locked parameter values, corresponding processing materials, and production scenario, and save them to the process parameter file for direct recall in subsequent batches.
IV. Unlocking and Resuming Automatic Mode
Enter the "Signal Filtering Settings" submenu, switch from "Manual Lock" mode back to "Automatic Adaptation" mode, and confirm submission to restore the automatic frequency adaptation function of dynamic RC.
After unlocking, the system will restart the interference spectrum scan and automatically match the optimal filter parameters for the current scenario.
V. Applicable Scenarios and Precautions
Manual locking is recommended for scenarios with extremely high temperature stability requirements, such as optical-grade transparent part molding and high-speed precision injection molding, to avoid introducing minor signal fluctuations during setting switching that could affect product yield.
Once locked, RC parameters must not be modified arbitrarily. If the on-site interference characteristics change significantly, the system must be unlocked, re-matched to the optimal setting, and then locked again.
Even in the locked state, the total RC time constant must be ≤200ms to avoid excessive filtering leading to temperature measurement sampling lag and temperature rise overshoot/runaway.
