How to Restore RC Parameters After a Factory Reset

I. Preparatory Work

Locate the RC reference parameter file backed up before the factory reset and confirm that the original calibration values, capacitance values, filter cutoff frequency, and other core parameters are complete.

Prepare an oscilloscope and a standard signal generator for subsequent RC performance verification. Confirm that the hot runner is in a safe standby state at room temperature.

Confirm that the temperature controller has completed its factory restart self-test, with no hardware fault alarms and the system is operating normally.

 

II. Step-by-Step Parameter Restoration

Enter the temperature controller's main menu and find the "Signal Filtering Settings" sub-option. Switch the factory default "Automatic Adaptation" mode to "Manual Configuration" mode.

According to the original RC parameters in the backup file, input the corresponding resistance range and capacitance value, and set the target filter cutoff frequency.

After submitting the parameters, use a standard signal generator to input a test signal to the input terminal and measure the actual filter cutoff frequency of the current RC network. Confirm that the deviation from the original reference value is ≤10%.

Verify that the attenuation of the target interference signal is ≥20dB, the total RC time constant is ≤200ms, and the temperature measurement signal delay is ≤200ms, with all performance indicators returning to the calibration acceptable range.

 

III. Post-Recovery Locking and Verification

After confirming that the parameter performance meets the standards, enable the "hardware latch" function to fix the RC parameters at the current level, preventing the system from automatically switching.

Set an administrator operation password to prevent unauthorized personnel from accidentally modifying the parameters.

Continuously observe the temperature readings for 30 minutes to confirm no jumps or oscillations, simulating the maximum interference conditions in the field to verify the stability of the filtering effect.

Re-enter the restored RC parameters and operation time into the process file and update subsequent calibration cycles synchronously.

 

IV. Fallback Plan for Abnormalities

If the original backup parameters are lost, new, suitable parameters can be quickly generated based on the current measured interference frequency in the workshop, using the previous RC parameter calculation method, to complete the calibration recovery.

If parameter configuration abnormalities occur during the recovery process, the factory reset operation can be performed again to repeat the configuration process.
