I. Basic Configuration Before Output

Mode Selection: Based on the signal type of the hot runner channel to be verified, switch to the corresponding output mode in the device menu. Supports two common hot runner scenarios: K-type thermocouple millivolt mode and 4~20mA standard current mode.

Range Lock: Combine the typical operating range of the hot runner to set the output signal range, locking the device's output accuracy to ±0.05%FS to ensure signal accuracy.

 

II. Core Parameter Settings

Frequency Setting: Enter "Frequency Setting" mode. For analog devices, use the coarse adjustment knob to quickly locate the target frequency range, then use the fine adjustment knob for precise calibration. For digital devices, directly input the specific frequency value via the numeric keypad. After setting, wait 30 seconds for the frequency output to stabilize.

Amplitude Setting: Enter "Amplitude Setting" mode. For analog devices, adjust the output voltage/power using the knob. For digital devices, directly input the amplitude value. Units such as V, mV, and dBm can be switched as needed. Note that the output amplitude must not exceed the device's rated upper limit.

Waveform Selection: Select the appropriate output waveform based on the verification requirements. For routine verification of the hot runner channel, a sine wave is selected. For fault linkage verification, special waveforms such as square waves and pulse waves can be switched.

 

III. Specific Parameter Adaptation Settings

Bias Voltage Setting: Adjust the DC bias of the output signal to ensure the signal is output around the correct voltage center, adapting to the reference level requirements of the hot runner temperature control channel.

Duty Cycle Setting: If pulse/square wave output is selected, set the duty cycle parameter, defining the percentage of the high-level duration in the entire cycle, adapting to timing verification scenarios.

Multi-Channel Synchronization Setting: For multi-channel models, parameters can be set independently for each channel. For multi-channel synchronous output, uniformly set the phase parameter to ensure synchronous triggering of multiple signals.

 

IV. Output Start-up and Verification

After all parameter settings are completed, press the "Output Start" button on the device. The signal generator will begin outputting the set signal.

Use the monitoring interface of the hot runner temperature controller to verify the signal value received by the channel. Confirm that the deviation from the set value is ≤ ±0.5%FS, indicating that the output setting is complete.

This setup process is perfectly suited for hot runner field operation and maintenance scenarios, with precise and efficient operation, and can quickly complete the standard signal output configuration required for channel verification.
