PT100 temperature sensors come in various models, mainly classified according to installation method, accuracy class, temperature range, and structural form. Common models include the WZP series (such as WZP-130, WZP-231), the dual-type WZP2 series, A/B grade accuracy models, and special-purpose thin-film or armored models.

These models are widely used in industrial temperature measurement, automation control, and precision instruments. Different models correspond to different application scenarios and technical parameters.

I. Common Models Classified by Installation Method

Waterproof (Threadless)

WZP-130: Single platinum resistance thermometer, Φ16mm

WZP-131: Single platinum resistance thermometer, Φ12mm

WZP2-130 / WZP2-131: Dual type, enhancing signal redundancy and reliability

Fixed Thread Type

WZP-230: M27×2 thread, Φ16mm

WZP-231: M27×2 thread, Φ12mm Suitable for fixed temperature measurement on pipe and equipment walls, with good sealing performance.

Modible/Fixed Flange Type

WZP-330 / WZP-430: Corresponding to movable and fixed flange structures respectively, suitable for temperature measurement of high-temperature and high-pressure vessels.

Threaded Tapered Protective Tube Type

WZP-631: M33×2 thread, commonly used in high-temperature furnaces or reactors.

II. Classification by Accuracy Grade

Table: Accuracy Grade | Allowable Error Formula | Applicable Scenarios

Grade A ±(0.15 + 0.002|t|)℃ High-precision measurement, such as in laboratories and medical equipment.

Class B ±(0.30 + 0.005|t|)℃ Routine industrial temperature measurement, lower cost.

Where "t" represents the measured temperature (°C), Class A offers higher accuracy and is suitable for systems with stringent temperature control requirements.

III. Classification by Structure and Function

Dual-Segment PT100 (WZP2 Series)

Contains two independent temperature sensing elements, suitable for redundant design or master/slave switching, improving system safety. Widely used in critical temperature control applications such as injection molding machine hot runners and power equipment.

Armored PT100

Compact structure, fast response, vibration resistant. Common models include CY105L (customizable thread). Suitable for temperature measurement in confined spaces or on moving parts.

Thin-Film/Surface Mount Type

Small size, suitable for circuit board integration or surface mount temperature measurement. Short response time, commonly used in temperature control modules for electronic equipment.

Type with Acquisition Module

Essentially, LM-PT100: Integrated LCD display and RS-485 communication function, supporting remote monitoring.

WD-PT100: DIN rail mounting, suitable for industrial PLC systems.

IV. Classification by Temperature Measurement Range

Type

Temperature Measurement Range

Features

Standard Type

-200℃ ~ +420℃

Most commonly used, meets most industrial needs

High Temperature Type

Up to +800℃

Special protective tube materials are used (e.g., 316 stainless steel)

Low-temperature type

-270℃ ~ +150℃

Used in ultra-low temperature environments, such as liquid nitrogen monitoring.

V. Selection Recommendations

General industrial temperature measurement: Select Class B accuracy, fixed thread type (e.g., WZP-231).

High reliability requirements: Prioritize dual-type (WZP2 series) or redundant design.

Precision control scenarios: Use Class A accuracy, armored or thin-film sensor.

Remote monitoring systems: Pair with a data acquisition module with a communication interface (e.g., LM-PT100).
