Based on the previous focus on hot runner digital interface selection and adaptation to different operating conditions, the following 5 steps can be used to complete the standardized installation safely and efficiently:
Power-off Safety Pre-treatment: Disconnect the main power supply to the hot runner temperature control box, confirm that there are no live circuits inside the cabinet, and take electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions to prevent ESD damage to the interface chip.
Locating the Installation Position: Align the digital interface with the DIN rail slot pre-installed in the control cabinet, insert it, and gently push the latch to lock it in place. Confirm that the interface is securely fixed.
Standard Wiring Operation: Connect the power supply, communication line, and temperature controller signal terminal in sequence according to the pin definitions. Use shielded twisted-pair cable for the communication line, with the shield grounded at one end.
Communication Parameter Configuration: After powering on, set the baud rate, station number, and other parameters for the corresponding interface in the temperature control system to complete protocol matching with the hot runner temperature controller.
Power-on Verification Test: Start the hot runner system, confirm that the temperature data transmission is stable without fluctuations, and that the over-temperature alarm signal triggers normally. Installation is complete. This procedure helps avoid wiring errors and ensures long-term stable operation of the interface.
