What equipment is needed for pressure sensor calibration?

Calibrating pressure sensors with standard interchangeability errors does not require specialized equipment. Three common types of equipment are sufficient:

Core measuring equipment: A digital multimeter (a standard accuracy one is sufficient, capable of measuring current/voltage to verify the module's output signal). For higher precision, a signal generator can be used, but it's not necessary for standard calibration.

Temperature/pressure reference (optional, only needed for high-precision scenarios): Standard pressure sources are generally not required for interchangeability calibration; the pressure from the injection molding machine itself is sufficient for verification. For higher precision, a calibrated standard pressure gauge can be used for parallel comparison.

Adjustment tools: A small flathead screwdriver (for fine-tuning the zero point and gain potentiometers on the module), wire strippers, and insulating tape (for wiring; having these on hand is more convenient).

Calibration after standard hot runner interchangeability only requires a digital multimeter and a small screwdriver; no additional specialized equipment is needed.
