Traditional hot runner temperature control only realizes simple fixed-value heating and single temperature feedback adjustment, which can no longer meet the high-precision production demands of modern high-end plastic products. The new generation of hot runner intelligent temperature control system relies on high-sensitivity thermocouple group real-time data acquisition, combined with optimized algorithm logic, to realize automatic identification, dynamic adjustment and fault self-diagnosis functions, greatly improving the overall intelligent level of injection molding temperature control.

The core of intelligent temperature control logic lies in multi-point synchronous data collection and fusion calculation. Adaptive PID intelligent adjustment is the key execution link of modern temperature control logic. Different from the manual fixed parameter mode of traditional controllers, the intelligent system can automatically match the optimal PID proportion, integral and differential parameters according to the ambient temperature, raw material type, mold heat dissipation condition and hot runner heating power. In the initial temperature rising stage, automatically increase the heating power to shorten the heating time; when approaching the set target temperature, automatically reduce the output power to avoid over-temperature impact; in the stable production stage, maintain low-frequency fine adjustment to keep the melt temperature always within the narrow optimal fluctuation range, effectively solving the problems of excessive temperature overshoot and long constant temperature stabilization time in traditional control.

The material adaptive matching logic greatly simplifies the field process debugging difficulty. Built-in mainstream plastic material temperature parameter database inside the intelligent controller, including common plastics and various high-temperature engineering plastics. Technicians only need to select the corresponding material model on the terminal, and the system can automatically match the recommended manifold temperature, nozzle temperature and temperature difference distribution scheme. Combined with the real-time feedback data of thermocouples, fine-tune the parameters autonomously, greatly shorten the mold trial parameter debugging cycle and reduce the dependence on senior debugging technicians.

In addition, the intelligent temperature control system is equipped with perfect fault early-warning and self-inspection logic. It can automatically judge common faults such as thermocouple open circuit, short circuit, temperature measurement drift, heater attenuation and excessive heat loss according to abnormal data changes, and pop up classified fault prompts on the display screen, accurately locating the fault position and cause. It can also link with the injection molding machine host to realize linkage protection, automatically reduce the system heating power or pause heating when serious temperature abnormality occurs, so as to avoid mass defective products and equipment burnout accidents caused by out-of-control temperature. With the continuous upgrading of intelligent logic algorithms, modern hot runner temperature control will develop towards more accurate, more energy-saving and more unattended automatic operation direction, helping the injection molding industry realize intelligent and efficient production upgrading.333
