III. Severe Damage: The core forming components of the mould are rendered wholly unusable as a result of the direct crushing of the mould core by rigid compression. It is necessary to have a mould core that is custom-made.

A complete failure of the dividing surface fit, large-area deformation of the template, and irreversible damage to the structural accuracy of the entire mould.

In severe cases, this type of damage can result in the complete mould being rendered unusable, repair costs exceeding 50,000 yuan, and prolonged production line downtime.

The design phase should incorporate sufficient thermal expansion clearances, and clearance verification should be performed during installation to prevent the occurrence of these mould damage issues.
