Verification of Basic Dimensions Make sure there is no binding or sticking by smoothly passing a standard nylon gauge along the whole length of the bore to verify that the inner diameter tolerance and coaxiality deviation are ≤0.05mm.

Installation and Fit Inspection
To guarantee there is no possibility of electrical leakage, retest the insulation resistance between the probe terminals and the housing to make sure it is ≥100MΩ. Then, insert a new sheathed probe and make sure it goes in and out smoothly and without looseness.
Calibration of Temperature Accuracy
After heating the hot runner to the normal operating temperature and keeping it there for half an hour, update the compensation settings by performing a single-point calibration on the Husky temperature controller and comparing the results with a calibrated standard thermometer to confirm a variance of ≤±1°C.

Verification of Operational Stability
Make that there is no drift or variation in the temperature signal during the three consecutive cycles of heating and cooling from room temperature to the maximum working temperature, and that the temperature variance stays within ±0.5°C. When all requirements are satisfied, the system is prepared for official production.

This pre-production process successfully eliminates the possibility of injection moulding faults produced by introducing a malfunctioning system into production since it is completely linked with on-site hot runner maintenance and operation.
