I. Calibration Intervals for Different Drift Levels
Slight Drift (deviation ≤ 0.1%FS): After completing drift repair calibration, recalibrate every 3 months. If there are no drift recurrences after two consecutive recalibrations, the standard 1-year calibration cycle can be resumed.
Moderate Drift (deviation 0.1%~0.5%FS): After completing drift repair calibration, recalibrate every month. If there are no drift recurrences after three consecutive recalibrations, the calibration interval can be extended to once every 6 months.
Severe Drift (deviation > 0.5%FS): After completing drift repair calibration, recalibrate every 2 weeks. If there are no drift recurrences after three consecutive recalibrations, the calibration interval can be extended to once every 3 months. Simultaneously, check for internal aging components to prevent repeated drift.
II. Key Factors Affecting Calibration Intervals
For high-frequency usage scenarios where the production line operates for more than 8 hours per day, the calibration interval needs to be shortened by 30% from the above.
For precision injection molding scenarios where hot runner temperature control calibration accuracy requirements exceed ±0.1%FS, the calibration interval needs to be shortened by 50% from the above requirements.
For equipment operating under harsh conditions of high temperature and strong electromagnetic interference for extended periods, the calibration interval needs to be further shortened, and a weekly drift check may be necessary.
III. Forced Calibration Triggering Conditions
After drift repair calibration, recalibration must be performed immediately without waiting for a fixed period if any of the following conditions occur:
Equipment experiences abnormal operating conditions such as excessive electromagnetic shock, overpressure, overload, or drop.
Drift exceeds 0.05%FS after 24 hours of continuous operation.
Hot runner products exhibit batch weight fluctuations, uneven filling, or other process abnormalities.
This dynamic calibration rule minimizes unnecessary calibration downtime while ensuring accuracy, adapting to the efficient operation and maintenance needs of precision injection molding production lines.
