For crucial temperature measurement locations used in high-end precision injection moulding in automotive, medical, and other industries, a 6-month calibration cycle is advised following repair to assure sustained product moulding accuracy.
Pre-calibration trigger conditions: If a repaired thermocouple exhibits abnormalities, such as a persistent temperature deviation exceeding ±2℃ or erratic temperature fluctuations, recalibration should be scheduled immediately, without waiting for the predetermined cycle, to avoid affecting product moulding quality.
