Many compact hot runner molds, side gate molds, inclined nozzle layouts and deep cavity enclosed structures cannot reserve straight-line vertical installation space for conventional straight rod thermocouples, resulting in installation difficulties, probe interference and wiring extrusion problems. Right-angle L-shaped bent thermocouples are specially designed to solve narrow space installation limitations, perfectly adapting to complex mold structural layouts that straight thermocouples cannot adapt to.

The right-angle bent structure divides the probe into vertical measuring section and horizontal wiring section, which can be inserted laterally or obliquely into the reserved mounting hole, avoiding interference with internal mold steel, needle valve mechanism and runner layout. The bending radius is precisely controlled by professional processing to ensure that the internal thermoelectric alloy wire will not produce sharp-angle folding and fatigue damage, maintaining stable thermoelectric performance and long service life. The integrated bending forming process ensures that the sheath and internal insulation structure remain intact without cracking or gap leakage at the bending position.

In terms of temperature measurement effect, the measuring head of the bent thermocouple can accurately reach the preset temperature measuring point of the nozzle tip and manifold runner, closely fit the hole bottom to realize zero-gap heat conduction, with the same temperature measurement accuracy and response speed as straight models. The horizontal wiring section can follow the internal hidden wire groove of the mold for routing, avoiding exposure to the parting surface and being squeezed when the mold is closed.

In later maintenance and replacement, the right-angle structure does not need to disassemble surrounding mold components, and can be directly pulled out and installed along the bending direction, reducing maintenance difficulty and mold disassembly time. For multi-cavity compact molds and integrated hot runner modules with intensive layout, bent thermocouples have become an indispensable matching type, breaking the space limitation of mold design, enriching the layout flexibility of thermocouples, and ensuring both installation rationality and temperature measurement stability.333
