1. Color Status: Replacement is necessary when color-changing function is lost.
Normal Performance: After heating, it completely reverts from pink/dark green to deep blue/bright orange.
Replacement Signals:
Color cannot be restored, leaving residues of grayish-white, dark red, or localized blackening;
Dull and lacking saturation;
Uneven color change, with some particles showing no reaction.
Explanation: The indicator (such as cobalt chloride) has oxidized and deactivated, losing its humidity-responsive capability.

Procedure: Place in a sealed box with precision items (such as cameras, medicines) for one week;
Judgment:
No discoloration → Effective protection;
Discoloration within a short period → Insufficient adsorption capacity, should be replaced.
Practical Recommendation: When used for moisture protection of high-value equipment, it should be replaced annually to avoid potential hazards.
4. Usage History Reference (Assisting Decision Making)
Regeneration times ≥ 5 times: Performance usually drops below 70%, replacement is recommended;
Used for more than 1–2 years: Even if the appearance is normal, micropore degradation may occur due to natural aging;
Contact with oil, chemicals, or excessive heating (>120℃): Irreversible damage is highly likely.
