Core Accuracy Criteria: Choose three widely utilised hot runner temperature points (20%, 50%, and 80% of the range) from the whole temperature range to compare with a Class II standard thermocouple. All test points should have an indication deviation of ≤ ±1℃, which is within the national standard permissible error range for the associated graduation number. This is the primary requirement for successful calibration.
System Stability Criteria: After heating to the production temperature and maintaining a constant temperature for 2 hours, the temperature controller temperature curve fluctuation should be ≤ ±1℃, with no jumps or unidirectional drift; cold junction compensation error ≤ ±0.1℃; heating-cooling hysteresis ≤ ±0.5℃. The overall system stability satisfies the standards.
Auxiliary Performance Criteria: The insulation resistance between the two thermocouple electrode wires and the outer casing must be ≥100MΩ, with no signal variation caused by leakage.
Temperature measurements should be accurate with a dynamic reaction time of 15 seconds or less.
Within 12 months of calibration, under normal working conditions, the temperature measurement variation should not exceed the permitted error range, meeting the metrology cycle requirement. If all indicators meet the standards, the Husky thermocouple calibration is considered approved and meets all of the process requirements for hot runner precision injection moulding.
