Basic Connection Troubleshooting is the top priority.
Verify that BNC cables are firmly attached to the signal generator output port and the reference calibrator input port, free from any looseness or sporadic connections, by checking the connection status of each test cable.

Make sure all test cables are continuous by using a multimeter to check for internal breakage and bad connections. Retest after replacing with brand-new spare test cords.

To prevent calibration failure due to channel misalignment, make sure that all wiring channel numbers match exactly, with no cross-connections or improper connections.

Troubleshooting the environment and power supply is the second priority.

Verify that the reference calibrator has finished warming up, that the range settings are accurate, and that there are no operational issues.

Signal Generator Troubleshooting is the fourth priority.
Check for hidden defects in the core analogue circuit and make sure there are no hardware errors by entering the signal generator system self-test menu.

Examine the output ports for oxidation-related poor contact or physical damage. Retest after cleaning the oxide coating on the ports.

Verify that the firmware on the device is up to date. Unusual calibration failures could result from known flaws in previous firmware versions.

Operation Procedure Troubleshooting is the fifth priority.
Recheck the calibration operation method to make sure there are no operational faults and that the operation completely complies with the settings and steps specified in the performance verification manual.
