The Basic Graduation Number Configuration Parameters are used to match the thermocouple type. Supports typical industrial graduation numerals including K, J, T, and E. These must be totally consistent with the attached thermocouple to avoid systematic temperature measuring errors caused by mismatched graduation numbers.
Setting the upper and lower limits of the thermocouple's temperature measurement range: This matches the standard temperature measurement range of the corresponding graduation number to avoid sampling distortion caused by exceeding the range.
Cold Junction Compensation Parameters:
Cold Junction Compensation Switch Parameters: Used to enable or disable the thermostat's automated cold junction compensation function. This is the fundamental setup item for thermocouple temperature measurement.
Cold Junction Temperature Reference Parameters: Manually enter the measured ambient temperature at the cold junction connection point to correct systematic inaccuracies caused by temperature drift, ensuring a temperature deviation of < ±0.5℃.
Deviance Compensation Parameters:
Single Point Temperature Offset Parameters: The most popular calibration parameter. Enter the difference between the reference temperature and the temperature displayed on the thermostat to directly rectify single-point temperature measurement errors and fast finish basic calibration.
Input error data for 3-5 temperature points to generate a full-temperature-range linear compensation curve. This allows for high-precision calibration and eliminates nonlinear temperature measurement errors from thermocouples.
Auxiliary calibration parameters:
Calibration lock parameters: Used to prevent unauthorised people from mistakenly changing the calibration parameters and maintaining long-term stability of calibration accuracy.
PID self-tuning involves updating temperature control parameters after calibration. This allows the controller to adapt to new thermocouple properties, optimise the control curve, and ensure temperature fluctuations are < ±1℃.
These parameters address all of the essential setup aspects for Husky temperature controller thermocouple calibration. When properly calibrated, they can fully meet the high-precision temperature measuring requirements of hot runner injection moulding manufacturing.
